Covid-19

In uncertain times, and with fast-changing CQC legislation having a flexible and adaptable system is essential. When Covid-19 hit, we built a new module to track testing and vaccinations amongst carer teams. This is to ensure that both workers and service users are kept safe and to allow care providers to track and report on important data.

We don’t do slow-moving support tickets or feature wish-lists, this functionality was added to our system within a day, meaning our customers were one step ahead and already prepared to produce reports for inspections into Covid-19 compliance.

Compliance Inspections

By utilising our reporting functionality, long-winded and daunting CQC inspections turn into quick and simple tasks. Our system collects, organises and exports all of the data needed, including training and Covid-19 compliance, saving time and manpower at every inspection.

For clients in Surrey and Hampshire providing care services to the council, CARAS includes the corresponding reports to integrate into their bespoke payment systems.

Data on Demand

When other parts of the MDT require data such as the commissioner, GP or paediatric staff, data can be instantly provided. This reduces the need to manually collect data on a service user and allows for decisions to be made faster and during meetings, allowing for an increased level of collaboration. CARAS users can report on any data within the system, including events, staff holidays, contact details, financials, service user information and much more.

  • We had always had two people working full time in finance however once we implemented CARAS it picked up the responsibility and began automating most of our financial processes. Working through just timesheets alone used to take up roughly seven days, or 49 hours of manpower a week.
