Everyone who receives care has drastically different needs and requirements, which is why CARAS allows care providers to easily match the right support workers with recipients based upon their unique needs. Carers can be narrowed down using a search criteria including location, qualifications, compatibility and availability. This ensures that an agency’s clientele is assigned the most appropriate people who can provide them with the best care.
The scheduling feature is dynamic and will automatically exclude anybody who is unable to carry out the required work from the selection, as well as listing them on an exceptions screen along with the reason why. This enables managers and coordinators to easily assign the most suitable staff member to each client and activity, avoiding any mishaps.
Care providers can then generate a rota for both service users and staff, and share this either direct via email, via a printed timesheet for signature or via the CARAS mobile app. Integrating this with the app allows for support workers to check rotas in real-time and in a more convenient manner.
